From as far back as I can remember there have always been dogs in my life. My parents had bred and shown Airedale Terriers and I have many happy memories of attending dog shows most weekends. At one point we had 17 adult Airedales who all lived in the house but surprisingly seemed to melt away into their own rooms and seemed no more bother than one!

 

Since moving away from home I have had a number of dogs including two boxers, an old English sheepdog, Scottish terrier and an English Bull terrier but lost my heart to Bluebell, my bloodhound.

When Bluebell passed on I found myself researching many different breeds. I then had a trip to Discover Dogs in 2004 initially with a view to getting a grand blue de Gascoigne but fell in love with the Bracco Italiano.

 

Blossom (Ceannacroc Prada of Trudale) was purchased a couple of months later from June Laing in Scotland and settled in well with Milly, the 12 year old English bull terrier. When Milly passed away two years later I purchased Betsy (Gunsyn Marina of Trudale) from Lynne Bowley.

The Braccos have transformed my quite normal life to hectic weekends of dog shows and long distance driving – and I love every bit of it!!!
